KART RACING PRO TESTING GHOST FULL
Watch the full gameplay trailer here Ghost of Tsushima Plot: What is it about? It's all completely and aesthetically fitting to the environment, and it looks like a tonne of fun to play.
KART RACING PRO TESTING GHOST UPGRADE
If that wasn't enough, there are dozens of tells on what you could explore, from looming smokestacks on the horizon, to unique trees or even animals.įoxes will guide you to shrines that you can use to upgrade gear and gain experience, while birds will show you the way to unique exploration opportunities throughout the map. The wind will gently blow you –both physically and visually– in the direction of your chosen waypoints, which is a stunning way to hold the player's hand through their objectives without being overbearing. Instead of giant, obvious arrows that conspicuously point you in the direction of your next objective, nature takes over to guide you. What we really liked about the gameplay reveal is the unique and innovative ways Sucker punch has developed to guide you around it's world. We were also teased with a wicked Kurosawa-esque filter that you can place over your gameplay, dappling the game in twinkling black and white like the Japanese movies of old. The Ghost Path is more fitting for the ninjas among you, utilising stealth, smoke bombs, firecrackers and more to instil fear into your Mongol enemies. The Samurai Path will open up multiple stances to your combat, depending on which type of enemy you're fighting, and will help you muscle your way through fights with parrying, slashing and stabbing.

There was more info on the two ways you'll be approaching combat –either through brute force with your katana, or a more stealthy approach with the way of the Ghost– and the ongoing war that is ravaging Japan. We got several minutes of stunning gameplay and some more info on the story, how you will play and some cool features that might improve the experience. If you want some real info, then you're going to want to watch the full gameplay reveal that was shown during the Sony State of Play livestream on May 15. Picture an epic stand-off between too noble samurai, facing off in a windswept, blood-splattered wheat field: just divine.Ī lot of this game looks like you'll be sneaking into towns and enemy camps, clearing out the soldiers in a selection of gruesome ways, and then battling out an epic boss, which is what we are all here for right? This is a stunning looking game and definitely shows off the potential of next-gen consoles.
